Australian Beeswax Candles

When the World Wildlife Fund were to purchase candles to light up their inaugural Earth Hour event at Lady Macquarie’s Chair on Sydney Harbour, they came to Queen B to source the most sustainable candles in the world – those made from 100% pure beeswax.

Our Honeycomb range of candles are all hand-rolled on Sydney’s Northern Beaches and have the natural honeycomb design that has featured so prominently in design lexicon for centuries.  

Whilst it is nigh impossible to make a profit on a product that is hand rolled from pure Australian beeswax, using Australian labour and package it beautifully all the while offering retailers a markup, profit isn’t our key driver.  Our goal with Queen B is to make pure light and send it out into the world.  We lose on wholesale (but create the world we want to live in which is a world with High Street retailers selling Australian made products) but we make with online orders and corporate orders.

You can thank our many tens of thousands of customers over the past two decades who have done all of the quality testing for you.  Our business, our beekeepers and bees, and our products, have withstood a global financial crisis, droughts, bushfires, and flooding rains and are in greater demand than every in this pandemic for the ambience creating, air ionising and mood enhancing properties.  Our wraps save customers hundreds, it not thousands of dollars a year on food waste… thereby saving the planet at the same time.
